This pool and spa project is absolutely stunning. With it’s clean modern lines and fresh finishes, it really makes a statement in this oversized yard. Our clients wanted a pool large enough to fill the yard space. We went with low, clean sight lines in both the pool and spa to keep the backyard looking open. This style is timeless and we love the way it turned out. The oversized deck completes the project and allows the family people of room to host and entertain.

Project Details

This Churchill Farms backyard got a full overhaul with a swimming pool and spa, outdoor kitchen, fire pit and landscaping. We love when our clients want to turn their backyard into a “at home resort” and this backyard got just that! This newly updated backyard will provide the perfect entertainment for adults, kids and grandkids. We can’t wear to hear about all the memories made in this incredible backyard.

Here are some things you will see in this build:

We designed a freeform swimming pool complete with a tanning ledge and bubblers for staying cool while relaxing in that hot Texas heat.
The freeform raised spa makes a statement with the cut travertine spillway and the rolled neck for comfort.
The natural travertine stone paver deck really gives this backyard an elevated look. The travertine was stained with a lifetime water proof sealant to protect the deck over it's lifetime.
A 48" fire pit was installed near the spa for a second entertainment space. This gas fire pit complete with lava rock features a ledgerstone surround and travertine coping that matches the pool.
No backyard resort is complete without a cooking and eating area. We installed an outdoor kitchen complete with a built-in grill, bar sink and refrigerator complete with LED lights!
This backyard was finished off with a blackstar gravel border around the deck to add some depth to the backyard. We completed the yard with fresh sod and two stunning Mule palms that will provide much needed shade for this backyard oasis.

Project Details

When our clients purchased the home, there was already and existing patio cover with fireplace, custom built bar, custom built smoker and a fire pit. What is was lacking, was a pool! This backyard was the perfect size for an oversized swimming pool. During the design process our clients had expressed they wanted a swimming pool large enough to play volleyball, swim, dive and lounge. We love the way this family pool turned out.
