Project Details

This pool and spa project is absolutely stunning. With it’s clean modern lines and fresh finishes, it really makes a statement in this oversized yard. Our clients wanted a pool large enough to fill the yard space. We went with low, clean sight lines in both the pool and spa to keep the backyard looking open. This style is timeless and we love the way it turned out. The oversized deck completes the project and allows the family people of room to host and entertain.

Here’s some items you can find in this build:

  • Oversized swimming pool with Roman steps
  • Large tanning ledge with bubblers
  • Plenty of benches for sitting and relaxing while the kids swim
  • A 7' spa set inside the pool with a negative edge spillway
  • 18' wall with (3) water features

  • Nearly 1,000 ft2 of absolutely stunning sandstone pavers

Project Details

This Cane Island landscape got a whole new look. The original landscape was installed by the builder in 2017. As anyone who has ever built a home knows, the landscape installed by the builder is usually a hodge podge collection of different plants thrown in random spots. There’s no planning or designing, it’s mostly a matter of what they can get from the nursery that day. Suncor Outdoors to the rescue! We designed a layered landscape with space for each plant to grow in and mature over time. We can’t wait to see this landscape all grown up! Here’s a look at what we did on this project. Don’t forget to check out the before and afters below.

  • Original landscaping was removed and grass was skinned out to make the tree rings part of the main landscaping beds.
  • We installed a 3 x 6 Oaklahoma Blue chopped stone as a retaining wall around the landscape.
  • Gray beach pebble outlines the beds to bring in some of that french country charm.
  • The trees got a decent size trimming to allow the plants ample sun at the trees base.
  • We installed Purple Dream Loropetalum on the back layer of the landscape. We will allow this to grow into a hedge creating a beautiful purple backdrop with pink flowers that bloom during certain parts of the year.
  • The second layer of the landscape contains Dwarf Yaupon Hollies that we will keep shapped as round hedges to give the landscape some dimension.
  • The next layer of landscape contains clusters of Agapanthus and Variegated Liriope. The contrast in colors really draws your eyes to certain areas of the landscape.
  • The final layers of the landscape contain Lemon Lime Nandina and Annual flowers. The bright lime colored leaves of the Nandina really brighten the front layer. While the pinks and reds of the annual flowers soften the look.
  • The landscape was finished off with natural brown hardwood mulch, which is recommended for optimal plant health.

Project Details

This Churchill Farms backyard got a full overhaul with a swimming pool and spa, outdoor kitchen, fire pit and landscaping. We love when our clients want to turn their backyard into a “at home resort” and this backyard got just that! This newly updated backyard will provide the perfect entertainment for adults, kids and grandkids. We can’t wear to hear about all the memories made in this incredible backyard.

Here are some things you will see in this build:

  • We designed a freeform swimming pool complete with a tanning ledge and bubblers for staying cool while relaxing in that hot Texas heat.
  • The freeform raised spa makes a statement with the cut travertine spillway and the rolled neck for comfort.
  • The natural travertine stone paver deck really gives this backyard an elevated look. The travertine was stained with a lifetime water proof sealant to protect the deck over it's lifetime.
  • A 48" fire pit was installed near the spa for a second entertainment space. This gas fire pit complete with lava rock features a ledgerstone surround and travertine coping that matches the pool.
  • No backyard resort is complete without a cooking and eating area. We installed an outdoor kitchen complete with a built-in grill, bar sink and refrigerator complete with LED lights!
  • This backyard was finished off with a blackstar gravel border around the deck to add some depth to the backyard. We completed the yard with fresh sod and two stunning Mule palms that will provide much needed shade for this backyard oasis.

Project Details

When our clients purchased the home, there was already and existing patio cover with fireplace, custom built bar, custom built smoker and a fire pit. What is was lacking, was a pool! This backyard was the perfect size for an oversized swimming pool. During the design process our clients had expressed they wanted a swimming pool large enough to play volleyball, swim, dive and lounge. We love the way this family pool turned out.

Project Details

This backyard went from drab to fab with a total backyard overhaul! When we first visited the property, we noticed the stunning views of the golf course from the backyard, but no where to relax and enjoy them. Our clients wanted to extend the patio cover area, remove the two level spraydeck around the pool and replace it with new decking, and add an outdoor entertainment space. They also wanted to remodel the existing pool and spa. 

This backyard turned out better than we even dreamed! The material selections made truly compliment the natural nature elements that surround the back of their property. Here is the breakdown of what we completed at this stunning Seven Meadows property.

  • The existing pool had new tile, coping, stone and waterfalls installed. We finished the pool and spa remodel with a beautiful gray pebble plaster.
  • We removed the existing two level spraydeck around the pool and replaced it with a whopping 3,000 sq ft of travertine stone pavers.
  • We installed a patio cover that was THE largest cover we have ever done. This massive cover provides multiple different sitting and entertaining areas including a living room seating area, patio swing area, outdoor kitchen area, and outdoor dining area. The patio cover features gorgeous beams, a stone facade and lighting on the posts.
  • No backyard makeover is complete without an oversized outdoor kitchen! This kitchen features a built in smoker, grill, trash pull out, storage drawers and drawers, a double burner, bar sink and refrigerator. This outdoor kitchen has it all!
  • We built a custom table with seating for 12 so all could join in for a cookout or dinner outside. The table was finished in a stone facade to match the patio cover and topped with granite.
  • For a night of relaxing by the fire, we built a custom firepit complete with a raised wall to really set that space apart from the rest of the backyard.
  • And last, but certainly not least, we completed the renovation with a blackstar gravel border for drainage and landscaping to really make the new features in the backyard pop!

Project Details

This Grand Lakes pool was an existing pool when the Brown family purchased the house. The original owners opted not to have a spa built with the pool. Spa’s are wonderful features. They provide the trickling sound of water during the day and allow for warm relaxation in the evenings. The Brown family wanted to remodel the pool but also add the spa. Did you know that you CAN add a spa to a pool that doesn’t have one?

Here’s what we did on this pool remodel:

  • The existing pool tile and coping was replaced.
  • We added a new 8' spa with a negative edge spillover.
  • We added a raised wall with water descents as well as 2 columns complete with water/fire combo bowls for a nice statement.
  • The pool was finished with a beautiful custom blended blue pebble plaster.
  • We also built a patio cover to extend our client's outdoor living space. The patio cover extension made the perfect place to add an outdoor dining table.
  • The backyard wouldn't have been complete without a firepit. For this fire feature we went with a large Wok style fire pit that matches the water/fire combo bowls on the columns and completed it with blue fire glass.
  • Who remembers that old pea gravel decking? We removed all the pea gravel deck around the pool and replaced it with a beautiful natural travertine stone paver. It really completed the stunning look of this backyard.
