Deposit
Suncor Outdoors requires a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure a Holiday light installation date. The remaining balance will be due on the date of installation. The balance can be paid via credit/debit card or ACH direct debit.
Scheduling
Holiday light installation is scheduled by area. Once you have scheduled your install, should you need to reschedule, please notify the office 48 hours prior to your install. Should Suncor Outdoors need to reschedule your install due to implement weather or other acts of nature outside of our control, we will notify you 24 hours prior to your install.
You will receive a reminder about your scheduled installation the day prior to your install. Please leave all holiday décor on your front porch on your scheduled installation date. If holiday décor is not left out, you will need to contact the office and reschedule for our next available install slot in your area.
Holiday light takedown is based on area. You will receive an email confirming your takedown window before the Christmas holiday.
Additional Costs
Suncor Outdoors will charge our standard service fee of $85/hour each time we come out to make an adjustment outside of the 48 hours of installation. This includes resetting GFCI, breaker box, replacing bulbs, timers, mini lights, etc. Before 48 hours, Suncor Outdoors will make adjustments as needed at no cost.
MINI LIGHTS MUST BE UNPLUGGED DURING RAIN OR WET STORMS. Any visits to come out and repair or replace mini light strands will be subject to a service fee of $85 for each incident. To avoid issue with your mini light strands please be sure to unplug the lights during heavy rains or wet storms.
Holiday Décor Replacement
Lighting décor does not last forever. These items wear out over time and some may be required to be replaced each year. Mini light strands need to be replaced every 3 years. This includes mini light strands that wrap columns, trees, garland and wreaths. We will do our best to repair décor, however, it may be necessary to replace certain items if they have reached their lifespan. All holiday décor replacements will be billed at full price (materials + labor) the first year. You will receive a credit for each old holiday décor piece that cannot be used.
